Sober Indian Riders (SIR) is an Indian Club. The membership body offers fellowship to ALL NATIONALITIES in recovery from alcohol abuse and or drugs. We do not endorse one recovery program, religion or religious denomination as superior to another. However, the influence of American Indian Traditions, Customs, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and a Higher Power is strong within.

So welcome to our website, and may your visit inspire you to join with us in promoting sobriety.

A Prayer for Riding

Oh greatest creator who watches over and rules the dangers of the roads upon which we are about ride; we commend to thy almighty protection our most humble selves, for our safety on the roads we so gratefully pray.

Empower us, through thy divine spirit, to allow our thinking mind to be at rest so that our awareness is at a peak; to ride with our minds in a non-thinking spontaneous state so that we may see dangers before they arise.

Guard us, we beseech thee, from the dangers of the road, from injury, from the unintentional violence presented by vehicles driven by those who are unaware and from any and all evils that we may be exposed.

Conduct us in safety to the haven where we would be, with a grateful sense of thy empowering spirit.

We will ride with your divine spirit within us, through us and around us. All of this and so much more will unfold in your divine order, oh greatest creator God.

Amen.
